Epic boss-battler SINNER: Sacrifice for Redemption is set to receive a new content update in the coming weeks. The update will be available at no cost for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch versions on February 19, 2019. It will also be included in the full Steam release which is also slated for the same day.
The first new addition is a New Game+ mode, which will add three new challenges to the game. The “Trial of Speed” will allow Adam to move quicker and more freely while sacrificing the temporary invulnerability received during a dodge roll. The second trial, the “Trial of Consequence” adds perma-death to the campaign and the final trial, the “Trial of the Sinner” will combine the two together for the ultimate challenge.
The new content also includes a new boss for you to take on, the Cowardly Modic, a giant armored chicken. Upon defeating the freakish fowl you’ll earn two new weapons based on previous bosses’ kits. One of the new weapons is a set of twin swords, while the other is a sword and shield combo.
In SINNER: Sacrifice for Redemption, you take control of Adam and are tasked with defeating a series of specters from his past, each representing one of the seven deadly sins. The game features meticulous Dark Souls-like combat that has you dodge rolling and parrying your way to victory. You’ll travel across a variety of different environments all leading up to one epic final battle with multiple endings.
SINNER: Sacrifice for Redemption is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Discord for $18.99. It will be coming to Steam, along with the new content update, on February 19, 2019.
