Prom can already be hard and stressful to think about, much less the impending doom of a no. The original Monster Prom took that to an exciting and fun party game sim with a bevy of charm contained in both its art and writing. It also helps that the few times I played the game I never experienced any glitches.
Now, developer Beautiful Glitch has announced the sequel, Monster Prom 2: Holiday Season on Kickstarter. Thankfully for fans of the first game, they have already surpassed their Kickstarter goal. At the time of this writing, the game has made ten times what it was seeking for funding, with the kickstarter campaign ending on June 6th.
Like the first game, it will be a multiplayer (or single if you prefer) dating sim. Unlike the first game, it will technically be three games in one package, each of which add up to the size of the original game (which has tons of events that I have yet to replicate in my own playtime with it). There will be a winter holiday mode, a beach trip, and a summer camp mode. Stretch goals already reached have also upped the amount of playable characters from the original game. You can find out more and donate to the Monster Prom 2: Holiday Season Kickstarter here.
