Known for their licensed The Walking Dead series, game studio Telltale Games is beginning a majority studio closure following layoffs reported on September 21, 2018.

Some employees are still staying on in order to “fulfill the company’s obligations to its board and partners”. The Walking Dead: The Final Season is expected to finish. However the status of the anticipated Stranger Things game and the sequel to The Wolf Among Us are yet unknown.
