The wait is over. Kena: Bridge of Spirits is coming to Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One for the first time on 15 August 2024. You may have already heard about this game. It was published in September 2021 as a Sony Playstation exclusive and in that year, it won various awards including Best Independent Game and Best Debut Indie Game at The Game Awards.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits is an action-adventure game that combines narrative, exploration, puzzle-solving and fast-paced combat. The game delivers a journey of self-discovery as the young Spirit Guide Kena restores balance to a once-thriving ancient village.
Josh Grier, Chief Operating Officer at the studio has this to say about the release: “We’re thrilled to bring the story of Kena to a new audience on Xbox platforms. As our debut game, Kena means a great deal to everyone at the studio and the team is excited to share Kena’s journey with more players – we really hope everyone enjoys meeting Kena and her Rot friends!”
Xbox owners have missed out on plenty of Playstation-exclusive games like Returnal, God of War: Ragnarok and Ratchet and Crank: A Rift Apart. It’s great to see that Kena: Bridge of Spirits will now be released on the platform as a simultaneous worldwide release and that it will also have a physical edition.

The game will also include anniversary update content like New Game+, Trials, Outfits, Charmstones and Enhanced Photo Mode.
