IndieCade is now accepting submissions for its U.S. and European festivals for the 2019 year. The U.S. festival is going to be in Santa Monica, California and the European festival will be held in Paris, France. IndieCade is a celebration of innovation in indie gaming including not only video games but tabletop, card games and Live Action Roleplaying (LARPing) as well. Submissions will be taken until March 15 with late applications open until April 15.
All developers who apply will receive benefits such as complimentary admission to the U.S. and European IndieXchange Summit. Applicants are also invited to submit talks and have their game playtested at the festival. Membership is open to both professionals and students within the indie game community.
Last year at IndieCade, a tabletop game took home the Grand Jury Award at the U.S. festival. Bluebeard’s Bride has multiple players controlling one character as they explore the estate of their mysterious husband. Not just for video games, IndieCade is a festival for all types of games. All creators are encouraged to apply.
