VoidVR, a small indie studio has revealed that they are in the final stages of their debut VR game, Hit The Hive.
Though currently available in Early Access on Steam, VoidVR is planning a full release for the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift on August 24.
“We pride ourselves on our commitment to gameplay. We want our players to have an exciting and uplifting session every time they strap in to Hit The Hive and without breaking the bank,” said Stephen Newman, founder of VoidVR.
Hit The Hive is a sci-fi wave shooter with procedural generation to create “exciting, fast-paced and diverse levels that are unique every time you play” and the promise that each level will require a new and varied approach. As a member of The Tellurians and fight for survival against The Hive, relentless robots that will stop at nothing to take over your planet. Your goal: destroy The Hive and take out their queen.
While in Early Access, Hit The Hive will sell for $8.99. Upon its release, the price will go to $10.99. More information can be found on their Steam page or on their Discord server.
