Carbine Studios announced that the Massively Multiplayer Online Game Wildstar will be shutting down on November 28. Originally launched in 2014 under a subscription model, Wildstar quickly became a free to play game with an optional subscription that provided perks and cosmetics.
It is with great sadness that we say farewell as WildStar signs off for good on November 28. We’ve just released an update that turns off purchases, and turns on in-game events and bonuses. More info: https://t.co/xUyIVs7nJS pic.twitter.com/SzJbTpJ9Yv

In preparation for the shutdown, the update on September 26 has turned off in-game purchases. Real money purchases made on and after July 1st are set to be refunded. Any remaining C.R.E.D.D. —the game’s premium currency— that players have will be converted to NCoin. Players will only have their C.R.E.D.D. converted if they’ve been active within the past 90 days. Steam users who made purchases from their Steam funds will be reimbursed through Steam. More details about the shutdown and reimbursement can be found on the official announcement page here.
