InfraSpace is a new game by the developers that brought us Founders Fortune. What we know so far is that the game is still in the alpha stage and is planned to release sometime in 2021.
The game is a sci-fi-city-builder-traffic-management-style game. This game seems like it would be similar to Factorio, Stationers and Transport Tycoon.
The traffic management part comes in with your resources. Every resource you gather must go through your traffic infrastructure. Meaning that if your road infrastructure can’t handle the high traffic, you’re just causing out-of-this-world traffic.
Your first colonists will be astronauts and their first jobs will be to get your planet ready for your other guests. They will start off by mining for resources to get your colony thriving. Later down the line, you will need to employ scientists and engineers to help you grow your amazing home. Once you have your basics sorted, you need to make sure your schools can handle all the new kids and that you are able to deliver the latest VR-edutainment products.
The end goal of the game is to make artificial wormholes in order to jump vast distances through space. Of course, wormhole making isn’t easy. Who knew? The wormholes require portals of enormous size — no small team of astronauts can build one on their own. Your mission is to build one of these wormholes, which won’t be easy. You need a big team, a lot of resources and a person willing to change the course of space history.
Dionic Software, formerly known as Oachkatzlschwoaf Interactive, is a two-man team that were just friends and now they own their own game studio. Dionic has hired a third person to focus on sound design as they felt that sound would be extremely important to this game. Their previous game, Founders Fortune, is a game we reviewed here on Indie Ranger when it was in early access. Founders Fortune is now fully released and has players playing over millions of hours.
